Prince's Bridge, Melbourne. 1885 wood engraving

Wood engraving of "The Prince's Bridge" Melbourne from what is now the Arts Centre. St. Paul's Cathedral, the old Flinders Street Station and other major buildings and churches are shown. The engraving is from Andrew Garran's monumental publication, "The Picturesque Atlas of Australasia", which was issued in weekly parts from 1882 - 1888.
Engraved on wood after an original drawing.

Excellent condition, uncoloured as issued. Presented in a double mat with backing, ready to frame. Image size:170x270 mm.. Overall: 325x420 mm.
